Anthony Petrello: The Journey of a Grand Corporate Success

     Anthony Petrello is one of the highly successful executives in the corporate sector of the United States. He was also one of the highest-paid CEOs in the country multiple times in the past. As the Chief Executive of Nabors Industries, the leader in oil drilling, he gives vision to the strategies of the firm and oversees its operations across the globe. Interestingly, Petrello is not an executive who is running for greedy tactics. Instead, he goes for fairness and respect that derived from his moral code. His colleagues confirm that the way he treats fellow workers makes him different from other managers.

His business strategies have created thousands of jobs in the country, and his coworkers consider him as a truly inspirational leader. Interestingly, his humble background helped him to relate the struggles and pains of the common man, and that helped him to make business as well as personal relationship across the sectors. He was born in a middle-class family in Newark. The working-class neighborhood Petrello lived during the childhood days imprinted the qualities of strong work ethic, hard work, and integrity. Anthony Petrello completed his bachelors and masters in Mathematics from Yale University. Later, he also earned his law graduation from Harvard Law School. After the education, Petrello started his career with a Chicago-based law firm, Baker & McKenzie, and took care of the responsibilities of general corporate law, international arbitration, and taxation. He continued with the company until 1991 and left to join Nabors Industries. He joined Nabors as its Chief Operating Officer and took various responsibilities and growth efforts of the firm. In 2011, he was chosen as the Chief Executive Officer of the company.

He grew as one of the trusted business leaders in the United States. When a vast majority of the executives and wealthy individuals are criticized for greedy acts to amass wealth, Petrello always thinks for ways to give back to the society. He supports many charity initiatives as provides large paychecks to many philanthropic groups. Interestingly, more than 80% of his salary and other benefits from Nabors are based on the financial performance of the company. It means that while he is becoming the highest paid executives in the country, the company also showcases excellent performance under him. His success proves that strong work ethics and hard work would bring great success in the life.
